What to clarify before changing licenses
Before a change, we record existing subscriptions, contract terms, user groups, required security capabilities, and planned projects. This makes it easier to assign base licenses, add-ons, and different user types transparently. Assumptions, responsibilities, and dates are documented so that procurement, IT, and business teams use the same decision basis.
After provisioning, we check the partner assignment, license quantities, and the products available in the tenant. This preserves the reasoning behind a license choice for later joiners, leavers, role changes, or new compliance requirements. CSP provisioning therefore becomes a traceable starting point for ongoing administration rather than a one-time ordering exercise.
