Data Collection on This Website
Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the “Controller” section of this privacy policy.
How do we collect your data?
Your data is collected in part by you providing it to us, for example by entering it into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically, or with your consent, by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data such as browser, operating system, or the time of the page view.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data is collected to ensure the website is provided without errors. Other data may be used to analyze user behavior. Where contracts can be initiated via the website, transmitted data is also processed for enquiries and offers.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, withdrawal of consent given, restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can find details in the “Your Rights” section.

Storage Period
Personal data remains stored until the purpose for processing it no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations or another permissible legal basis prevent deletion.
Legal Bases and Recipients
Processing may be based on consent, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest. Personal data is only passed on to third parties where this is legally permissible or required.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect the transmission of confidential content.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access to information on whether and which data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data, unless a statutory retention obligation applies (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)
- Data portability in a commonly used, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR)

How to Exercise Your Rights
An informal message is sufficient. You do not need to use a form, state a reason, or bear any costs. Please contact the controller responsible for this website:
Sebastian Kerssen
Liboristraße 1
48155 Münster, Germany
We respond to your request free of charge and, as a rule, within one month of receipt. If a request is particularly extensive or complex, this period may be extended by up to two further months; we will inform you of this within the first month (Art. 12 (3) GDPR). Where we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may request additional information to confirm it (Art. 12 (6) GDPR). We are not required to appoint a data protection officer under Section 38 BDSG; using the channels above, your request reaches the management directly.
Withdrawing Consent
Processing that is based on your consent — on this website this concerns audience measurement with Google Analytics — can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). One click is enough:
Objection to Certain Processing
Where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data concerned, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. An objection can be made informally using the contact details above. We do not carry out direct marketing, so an objection under Art. 21 (2) GDPR has no subject matter here.
Complaint to a Supervisory Authority
Irrespective of a complaint to us, you may contact a data protection supervisory authority at any time, in particular in the EU Member State of your residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR). Because our registered office is in Münster, the competent authority is:
(State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, North Rhine-Westphalia)
Postfach 20 04 44
40102 Düsseldorf, Germany
The supervisory authority expressly asks that you first contact the controller. So please give us the opportunity to resolve your concern first — your right to lodge a complaint remains unaffected in any case.
Data Collection on This Website
Cookies
This website uses cookies, partly as session cookies, partly as persistent cookies, as well as first-party and third-party cookies. Necessary cookies may be set on the basis of a legitimate interest; cookies requiring consent are set exclusively on the basis of your consent. You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner on this website.
Contact Form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the form will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. Processing may be based on the initiation of a contract, a legitimate interest, or your consent.
Contact by Email
If you contact us by email, your enquiry including all resulting personal data will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and will not be passed on without a legal basis or your consent.
Antispam Bee
To protect our forms and comment function against spam, we use the Antispam Bee plugin, which operates exclusively on our own server and does not transmit any data to third-party providers. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in spam-free operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Consent Management
To obtain and manage consent, we use the software Complianz provided by Complianz B.V., Kalmarweg 14-5, 9723 JG Groningen, Netherlands.
Your decision is stored exclusively in cookies on your own device. It is not transmitted to the provider or to us, and we do not keep a server-side consent log. The Cookie Policy lists in detail which cookies are set and how long they remain valid.
The legal basis for storing these cookies is Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested. The associated processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR, since we are legally obliged to obtain and observe consent.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The “Manage consent” button on the Cookie Policy reopens the consent dialogue.
Only three services are registered in the banner: WordPress as the technical foundation of this website, Complianz for consent management, and Google Analytics for audience measurement. We do not embed any other services – in particular, no external fonts, map services, video platforms, or social media content are loaded.
Audience Measurement with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The measurement ID is G-DMNGPRMXK1.
Only with your consent. Google Analytics is executed only after you have agreed to the “Statistics” category in the cookie banner. As long as this consent has not been given, no Google script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google.
Purpose and scope. We analyse how our website is used in order to improve its content and technology. The data processed includes the pages viewed, the time and duration of the visit, the referring page, the device used together with its operating system and browser, and an approximate location derived from the IP address.
IP addresses. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. They are used solely to derive an approximate location and are discarded afterwards.
Cookies. The cookies set are _ga with a lifetime of 2 years and _ga_* with a lifetime of 1 year. They are used to distinguish visitors and visits and to count page views.
Legal basis. The processing is based exclusively on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future; this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until then.
Recipients and transfers to third countries. The recipient of the data is Google. Processing in the USA by Google LLC cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission are in place. Further details can be found in Google’s privacy policy.
Objection. In addition to withdrawing consent via our consent dialogue, you can permanently prevent collection by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on provided by Google. You can also delete the cookies that have been set in your browser at any time.
